Rosie, Ian and Barley
On the 22nd May a bright sunny morning Brenda arrived at Adelaide Street along with Rosie, Ian and Barley who look after Carol, Mark and Kerry respectively. After a couple of quick photographs, they went inside for the presentation. Peter presented Brenda with two cheques for two hundred and fifty pounds, Brenda thanked Peter and Fylde Mark for the donation and said it was most welcome and would be put to good use.
Peter explained that the monies were collected from Fylde members of the Lodge and from Peter and Ada’s, Ada is Peters wife, Garden Party, always an enjoyable function they put on every year. Over coffee Brenda gave a quick insight to the work done by the Charity and the recruitment and training of the guide dogs, Peter explained briefly the aims of charitable giving in Freemasonry and Mark Masonry in particular.
Carol, Mark, Kerry and Peter Green
Soon it was time to leave and the three dogs, that up to then had laid quietly in the bar, escorted their charges to their transport. Another feel good morning in Mark Masonry.
